Registration Policies
Registration for Ongoing Classes
Class size is limited, with priority given to students registered in the full time program, and then to those students registered in an ongoing class for the entire semester. The remaining spaces are then open to monthly students on a first-come first-serve basis, with full payment securing the student’s place in that class.
Registration for Weekend Workshops
Class size is limited, with registration being on a first-come first-serve basis. Registration and full payment will secure the student’s place in that class.
Wait-list
If places are no longer available in a class, students may be added to a wait-list, and if an opportunity opens us, the studio will contact the students on the wait-list to register them in that class. There is no cost to be added to the wait-list, and there is no obligation to register, should a space become available.
Payment of Fees
Registration is completed once fees are paid in full. Payments can be made by PayPal or Interac e-transfer. The student will receive the supplies list together with confirmation of registration.
Withdrawals and Refunds
A withdrawal from a class with 48 hours notice prior to the start of the first session will result in a 50% refund of tuition fee. In all other cases, fees are non-refundable.
Class Times
Class times are Sunday, Monday and Wednesday 2-5pm for Open Studio, and Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 6:30pm-9:30pm for model groups. Classes start promptly, and students may arrive 10 minutes prior to start time. The studio is closed from 1-2pm during weekend workshops, and from 5-6:30pm during the week.
Location
The studio is located near Main and 2nd in Vancouver, BC. The nearest skytrain is Science World.
Supplies List
This will be sent to each student upon completion of registration
Cancellation of Class
The studio reserves the right to cancel a course up to five days prior to the start of the course, if there is insufficient enrolment. In this case, the studio will issue a full refund to all those students who have registered. Course cancellation will be announced to each student by email.
